Hoi An you where outstanding, photogenic, quiet, busy, cheap, trusting, hot, sweaty, and so much more.
We had some amazing day’s lazying under umbrellas on the beach, hot day’s cycling round the country side, an afternoon learning the culinary secrets of Vietnam’s favourite dish’s mmmm fresh spring rolls how I want you in my mouth.
My highlight was getting picked up at 430am to get a ferry ride over to a local fishing village to photograph life and the people of the village going through their daily routine of unpacking the daily catch, butchering local meats, eating, talking, laughing, drinking coffee and the best part was I just blended in as they where so busy which made for some amazing photos.
And in complete contrast my lowlight
We had our bag stolen by a speeding off taxi driver which had both our passport’s, laptop and most of my camera gear in Saigon…so until I get back on my feet equipment wise this will be the last you see of me for a while…
