Still Alive.

Hey folks,

Sorry for the radio silence the last few months. It has taken me a little bit of time to get back on my feet with re-stocking the kit. Still only limited with what I can do focal length wise so here are a few from the last couple of weeks.

Remember all images you see here or on insta @lukehenkelphotography are available as prints. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for details.

Hope you all doing well.

Cheers Luke

Bitter sweet…

Hoi An you where outstanding, photogenic, quiet, busy, cheap, trusting, hot, sweaty, and so much more.

We had some amazing day’s lazying under umbrellas on the beach, hot day’s cycling round the country side, an afternoon learning the culinary secrets of Vietnam’s favourite dish’s mmmm fresh spring rolls how I want you in my mouth.

My highlight was getting picked up at 430am to get a ferry ride over to a local fishing village to photograph life and the people of the village going through their daily routine of unpacking the daily catch, butchering local meats, eating, talking, laughing, drinking coffee and the best part was I just blended in as they where so busy which made for some amazing photos.

And in complete contrast my lowlight

We had our bag stolen by a speeding off taxi driver which had both our passport’s, laptop and most of my camera gear in Saigon…so until I get back on my feet equipment wise this will be the last you see of me for a while…

Bitter sweet..

Franck - So upset for you mate, it’s not funny! :-( really irritating. On a different note, you got a few really nice shots there.

admin - Cheers Franck, it definitely not a nice feeling. Hope you well mate. Airlie beach looked like a good time. Chat soon.

Blue Grass

Hey Crew,

The days are getting shorter the sun took it’s sweet time getting over the horizon this morning but threw some rad colours around on its way.

Very fresh on the sand, strong offshore early with some 3ft gems along the stretch. The groms where ripping it up near the rocks and a few nice one’s north of Dixon.

Swell was meant to spike this afternoon but a light southerly kinda killed the beach vibe.

If you see anything you like here I have prints available in all shapes and sizes, framed or acrylics. Please get in touch via the contact sheet or check out my Instagram @lukehenkelphotography

Cheers
