The clouds parted this morning but this relentless NW wind continued to annoy everyone today. Although it backed of a touch this afternoon which allowed the crew to get some fun waves at Wilkes and over at the Lefts.

Lets see what tomorrow brings, 6ft and glassy. ( dreaming )

Paul Henkel - This time around at Namotu, I feel you have captured some of your best shots & i think you feel this also as you said ” i could talk shots like this all day” nature provides if you are open to receive. Not having to capture the surfer etc at their best , nature is always at its best, just being its self. But it takes an open mind & heart to capture. Well done mate.cheers Dad

Round two

Not everyday can be perfect in paradise nor can two days in a row, its still summer here in fiji so with it brings rain, squalls and cyclones. Thank the weather gods that there are no cyclones’s here this year, but the last couple days have been pretty crappy.

Hey at least the crew got a surf in down at despos….the bad weather and no waves starts to get to people after a couple days so fingers crossed its a nice one tomorrow.

Today started out pretty wet and wild, rained most of the night and much of today. The crew hit up despo’s today and they got some screamer’s and did a lot of screaming when they went over the falls and got stuck inside.

Desperation’s is called that for a reason, its the last place you go when there is not much swell and the wind is out of the NNE.

On the bright side rain tanks are full the guests got one surf in. Maybe more of the same tomorrow.

admin - No problem Tim, thanks for taking the time out to check it out. Hope you well Mate.

Im back.

Im lucky enough to have the privilege to work for Mandy and Scotty on Namotu Island Fiji. Since last year I have spent a couple of months a year on this beautiful little island in the Pacific.

So here it is Im back for three weeks…it started off well with a super fun day out at cloudy, 5ft sets and super glassy. The swell has died out but still super fun here in the summer time, the guests on the stand ups, fishing and chilling. Although this week we have a bunch of Dentists doing a clinic over at one of the villages so I have it pretty easy this week.
